SURABAYA<\/strong> – Komisi D DPRD Jawa Timur mengapresiasi pengoperasian Pusat Pengolahan Limbah Industri Bahan Berbahaya Beracun (PPLI B3) di Dawarblandong di kabupaten Mojokerto.<\/p>\n

Komisi D berharap dengan beroperasinya pusat pengolahan limbah bisa memudahkan perusahaan di Jawa Timur untuk membuang limbah B3, karena lokasinya yang cukup dekat.<\/p>\n

Ketua komisi D DPRD Jawa Timur Agung Mulyono mengatakan, dibangunnya PPLI Dawarblandong itu menunjukkan keseriusan komisinya, yang berkomitmen terhadap pelestarian lingkungan.<\/p>\n

Selain itu, PPPLI B3 Dawarblanding diharapkan akan menjadi solusi bagi permasalahan limbah B3 di Jatim, yang setiap hari jumlahnya makin meningkat.<\/p>\n

\u201cJadi hari ini kita bertemu dengan enam industri di Jawa Timur terkait dengan Dawarblandong, kita bangga, cinta lingkungan dan ini legacy komisi D setelah beberapa waktu lalu Bus Trans Jatim sudah diresmikan,\u201d kata ketua komisi D DPRD Jatim dr Agung Mulyono pada Senin (16\/10\/2023).<\/p>\n

Dia menjelaskan, pihaknya telah mengundang beberapa perusahaan di Jawa Timur, untuk mensosialisasikan PPPLI B3 Dawarblandong tersebut.<\/p>\n

Menurut dia, mayoritas perusahaan senang, karena letak PPLI B3 Dawarblandong dekat, sehingga bisa menekan biaya operasional pembuangan limbah B3 dari perusahaan mereka.<\/p>\n

\u201cPrinsipnya mereka senang karena skrg (PPLI Dawarblandong) dekat, selama ini jauh. dan nanti ini menjadi yang terbesar di Indonesia setelah Cileungsi,\u201d tegasnya.<\/p>\n

Anggota DPRD Jatim dari Dapil Banyuwangi-Situbondo-Bondowoso itu optimis, kesadaran perusahaan di Jatim dalam pengolahan limbah B3 lebih baik lagi. Mereka bisa semakin sadar bahaya limbah B3, sehingga mengolahnya sesuai dengan prosedur yang berlaku.<\/p>\n

\u201cIstilahnya ada rambu-rambu biru tadi yang kita undang tadi relatif baik terutama dalam pengolahan limbah, kita dengar diluar ada yang membuang limbah itu asal dan tidak terbakar. Yang paling penting respon mereka baik,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Agung Mulyono berharap agar harga pengolahan limbah yang ditawarkan PPLI Dawarblandong bisa lebih kompetitif, sehingga banyak perusahaan di Jatim yang tertarik membuang limbah ke perusahaan BUMD milik Pemprov Jatim itu.<\/p>\n

\u201cKita bangga, prosesnya panjang dan sulit tetapi hari ini diresmikan. Harapannya harganya semakin kompetitif,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, data dari Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan (KLHK) mencatat, jumlah limbah B3 yang dihasilkan Jawa Timur mencapai 6,1 juta ton pertahun. Dengan besarnya jumlah limbah tersebut, maka potensi limbah B3 yang bisa diolah di PPLI Dawarblandong tersebut cukup besar.<\/p>\n

\u201cNantinya Dawarblandong tidak hanya limbah B3 tetapi juga limbah medisnya akan ditangani,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Wakil ketua komisi D DPRD Jawa Timur Ashari mengaku, dioperasikannya PPLI B3 Dawarblandong diharapkan bisa semakin memudahkan pengolahan limbah dengan kalangan industri di Jawa Timur, karena lokasinya yang cukup dekat.<\/p>\n

\u201cKita tadi memanggil perusahaan, kayak semacam kita woro-woro dan mereka senang karena lokasinya dekat. Mereka dalam pengawasan DLH di Jawa Timur,\u201d jelasnya.<\/p>\n

Ashari mengatakan, pihaknya akan berkoordinasi dengan stakeholder terkait, agar pengolahan limbah tersebut harganya tidak terlalu mahal, sehingga perusahaan di Jatim tertarik.<\/p>\n

\u201cKalau untuk harga, kami sudah mengundang biro AP dan nanti akan ditentukan di pengadaan barang dan jasa, tetapi untuk ongkos nanti menunggu biro AP, yang pasti untuk Sidoarjo dan Mojokerto ya lebih murah Mojokerto,\u201d tambahnya.<\/p>\n

Sementara itu, Kepala Bidang Pengendalian Pencemaran dan Kerusakan Lingkungan Hidup DLH Provinsi Jawa Timur Aju Mustika Dewi mengatakan, kapasitas pengolahan limbah PPLI Dawarblandong mencapai 12 ton perhari.<\/p>\n

Limbah tersebut akan dibakar dengan menggunakan incenerator, sehinggga menghasilkan residu, yang nantinya bisa ditanam di dalam tanah. Sementara itu, pengolahan limbah dengan konsep sanitarylandfil masih belum beroperasi, karena pembangunannya belum selesai.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
